Our Story
The Beginning
JT began his tattoo artist journey while living in Colombia in 2015 and soon moved back to the States to further his career. In 2019, he had the chance to establish his own tattoo studio, Jt Ink Tattoo. Despite the challenges posed by COVID, he persevered and made it happen. "I had a single table, a chair, and a tray set up in the corner of a big room. Gradually, I built up my clientele and eventually took on apprentices, all while focusing on creating an inviting tattoo studio decoration that reflects my style." - JT
The Aesthetic
Before opening Jt Ink Tattoo, JT made these steampunk-style masks in his free time. These masks were the first pieces of decor he hung up, setting the tone for the tattoo studio decoration. Additionally, JT discovered a local artist who created stunning metal sculptures from junkyard scraps, and he was amazed by his pieces. If you stop by the studio, you'll see several of them throughout. His favorite pieces were sculptures of octopus tentacles, which inspired the studio mural and represent part of his tattoo artist journey in creating a unique atmosphere for customers seeking tattoo and piercing services.
The Remodel
In 2023, JT recognized that JT Ink Tattoo needed a makeover, leading to the addition of a piercing room to enhance our tattoo and piercing services. With an updated studio, four skilled tattoo artists, and a dedicated piercer, the space has truly come together. JT Ink Tattoo is the ideal destination for anyone seeking quality tattoo and piercing services, energized by our consistent and loyal customer base, all while reflecting a beautiful tattoo studio decoration.
